Lokmangal College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Wadala is a constituent institute of Shriram Gramin Sanshodhan va Vikas Pratishthan, Wadala, N. Solapur, which was established under the dynamic leadership of Honorable shri. Subhash Ji Deshmukh with an objective of providing quality education in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology. The college was approved & established in 2008 & started from academic year 2009-10.
The Agricultural Biotechnology is kaleidoscopically changing and ever evolving branch. Innovation, orientation and an ever expanding base serve as a firm foundation for the latest development in Biotechnology.
The main aim of our college is to provide education about Genomics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Transgenic Biology, Stem Cell, Crop Production, Livestock Management, Food Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and other related areas of Biotechnology to fulfill growing need of educated human resources in this area.

Our institute is one of the leading institute in Maharashtra in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology. Also, it is reckoned for quality education in the jurisdiction of the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri. Modern agricultural biotechnology includes a range of tools that scientists employ to understand and manipulate the genetic make-up of organisms for use in the production or processing of agricultural products. The objectives in this field will be achieved on dedication of efficient human resources skilled in this field. We strive for better education, research and employment in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology.

B. Tech Biotechnology
Total Intake: 50
Duration: 4 Years
Course Load: 184
- Age : The minimum age of the candidate should be 16 years as on last date of submission of application form.
- Aggregate marks: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (12th std) securing not less than 50% marks for General category (Open) and 40% marks in aggregate for reserved categories (SC/ST/VJa/NTb /NTc /NTd / OBC / SBC).
- XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCM or PCMB or PCB and English.
- Those who have not offered Biology, Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.
- Common Entrance Examination i.e. MHT-CET/JEE/NEET/AIEEA-UG organized by competent authority during year 2020-21 in PCB or PCM subject.
