Lokmangal College of Agri-Business Management, established in 2014, is affiliated with the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth. The college was founded with the vision of promoting excellence in agri-business education and developing skilled professionals for the rapidly evolving agricultural sector.

The institution offers a specialized four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri-Business Management program that combines agricultural knowledge with modern business and management practices. The course focuses on the production, marketing, finance, and management aspects of agriculture and allied industries, preparing students for managerial and entrepreneurial roles.

The program aims to develop future business leaders and entrepreneurs by providing a strong foundation in both agriculture and management. It also creates awareness about opportunities in small, medium, and large-scale agribusiness enterprises. Eligibility Criteria

B. Sc. ABM

Total Intake: 60
Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Course Commenced from: 2014
Aggregate marks: 45% for General Category

Minimum age : The age of the candidate should be 16 years as on last date of submission of application form.
Aggregate marks : Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (12th Std. Science) with minimum 50% marks for General category (Open) and minimum 40% marks in aggregate for reserved categories (SC/ST/VJa/NTb/NTc/NTd/OBC/ SBC/EWS/Handicapped).

Duration: 4 Years( 8 Semesters)

Qualifying Examinations:

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCM or PCMB or PCB and English.
Those who have not offered Biology, Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.
Common Entrance Examination i.e. MHT-CET/JEE/NEET organized by Competent Authority during year 2025 26 in PCB or PCM subject.

Note: (P- Physics, C- Chemistry, M- Mathematics, B- Biology)

Those who have not offered Mathematics/ Biology as one of the subjects at XII Std. (Science) shall have to complete 2 additional credits in Mathematics as deficiency course which will not be considered while calculating the C.G.P.A. (For Sr.No.1 to 4 & 7 to 8 above)
Candidates from outside of Maharashtra State who have passed qualifying examination of XII Std. (Science) or equivalent with Botany and Zoology instead of Biology are also eligible for admission.
The candidates acquiring Diploma in Agriculture Science at Rural Institute Amravati or Wardha under the jurisdiction of Dr. PDKV, Akola are qualified for B. Sc. (Honours.) (Agri. business Management) degree courses in all SAU are where eligibility criteria is Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
The changes will be made in admission eligibility as per government resolution issued time to time.
The highest marks of entrance examination will be considered in case of candidate appearing more than one entrance examination.
NEET Common admission entrance examination is also available in Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology group but this group of NEET Common admission entrance examination will not be considered for admission. Also JEE (Architecture) candidates are not eligible.
As per the rule of CET, Candidate apprearing (PCB group) Physics, Chemistry and Biology for Common Entrance Examination organized by Competent Authority must passed in XII Std. (Science) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also Candidate apprearing (PCM group) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Common Entrance Examination organized by Competent Authority must passed in XII Std. (Science) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Some Education Boards issue mark sheets for Std. 10th / Std. 12th (Science) that show the marks obtained in individual subjects but do not mention the overall percentage. In such cases, the percentage will be calculated based on the total marks obtained in all subjects shown, or if the board follows the ‘Best of Five’ method, then the percentage will be calculated using the marks of the best five subjects as per that method. For Std. 12th (Science) stream, the candidate must have passed in the following mandatory subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics (either one is compulsory in addition to the above three).
